Strawberry Smoothie

Healthy summer smoothies packed with Vitamins and Minerals to start your day – the berry right way!  

Smoothies are quick to make and easy to enjoy on-the-go while you still get your daily amount of nutrition. Here are three easy recipes to include strawberries in your smoothies.  

Very berry Smoothie

Serving Size: 2 servings 

What You need

2 cups frozen mixed berries (Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries or Blackberries)  

2 frozen peeled and diced bananas 

1 cup vanilla yogurt 

1 cup milk – plus more as needed 

1 ½ tablespoons honey – plus more to taste

Preparation Method

Add all ingredients into a large blender.  

Blend all ingredients until smooth or until desired consistency. If too thick, add more milk as needed. Serve immediately. Enjoy! 

Frozen strawberry Smoothie

Serving Size: 2 servings 

What You need

2 cups frozen strawberries 

½ cup water 

4-6 tablespoons cashew butter or almond butter 

4 teaspoons Redberry Farm strawberry jam  

Preparation Method

Add the frozen strawberries, water, strawberry jam, and cashew butter to a blender. 

Start blending on low-medium and gradually increase the speed until perfectly smooth. Serve right away. 

Green strawberry Smoothie

Serving Size: 2 servings 

What You need

1 ½ cup ripe strawberries 

1 cup Baby spinach 

1 small Avocado, halved  

150ml Greek Yoghurt  

2 small oranges, juiced, plus ½ tsp finely grated zest 

Preparation Method

Add all ingredients into a large blender.  

Blend all ingredients until smooth or until desired consistency. If too thick, add milk as needed. Serve immediately. Enjoy! 

Tips and tricks for a successful berry Smoothie

Use frozen fruit to ensure that the smoothies are cold and that they have thicker consistency. 

Do not add ice to these mixed berry yogurt smoothies, as it will dilute the flavors. Instead, freeze the berries and bananas. 

Cut up your bananas before freezing as frozen bananas are difficult to peel.  

You can use any type of milk – Low fat, Almond, Oat or Macadamia milk.
