Our Golden Kiwis
Redberry Farm planted 5.5 hectares of Golden Kiwi plants in 2018 and we had our first harvest in 2021 producing 15 tons of Golden Kiwi’s. Redberry Farm is very excited about the new fruit venture and are looking at ways to expand soon.
Golden Kiwi’s is a delicious superfood that is high in Vitamin C and dietary Fibre and provide a variety of health benefits.
Redberry Farm’s Golden Kiwi’s is available at the Redberry Farm Stall and at certain retail outlets.
Picking season for Golden Kiwi’s is from March to April.
We planted the Soreli Golden Kiwi variety. This varieties internal colour is bright yellow and it has a brown skin with no hair unlike a green kiwi.
Golden Kiwi’s has a shelf life of 14 days. If they are taken care of and refrigerated, they can last 21 days.
To get the most out of your kiwi’s store them in a vented bag or container in the refrigerated by doing this you slow down the ripening process – so you can use them in salads, smoothies or to enjoy as is!

- Golden Kiwi’s does not have any hair on their skin.
- They contain three times more vitamin C than an Orange.
- Kiwi’s have high levels of serotonin and antioxidants that can improve your sleep.
