Paddle Boats

Hand pedal your way around the dam inside a paddle boat.

The paddle boats are loads of fun for kids wanting to have a unique experience on the farm dam.  The paddle boats take more coordination than the bumper boats and are a completely different steering experience.

Paddle Boats
5 minutes
Children are required to wear a life jacket supplied by Redberry Farm.
This is for able-bodied people only, who can swim.  The boat is very stable.
For children only.
R20 per child. Please purchase your ticket at the Farm Stall.

What’s the difference between a paddle boat and a bumper boat?

  • The paddle boats use a pedal to move the boat forward.
  • The bumper boats use a battery to propel the boat forward and the passenger simply steers.
  • Bumper boats can be used to crash into each other due to their outer cushion.

Please Note

  • All of our activities are weather dependent.
  • Paddle Boats are only open on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • During Western Cape public school holidays, Paddle Boats will run Monday – Saturday.
  • Paddle Boats are also available on public holidays provided the holiday does not fall on a Sunday, when the farm is closed (Redberry Farm is closed on the following public holidays: Good Friday and Christmas).
